People from all over the world gather at the same time 12 noon GMT  (4:00am PST) for prayers for peace and meditation for planetary healing. Love,  April World Healing Day  history: At noon Greenwich time, December 31, 1986, men, women, and children around the world gather to participate in the most comprehensive prayer activity in the history– a planetary affirmation of peace, and love, forgiveness and understanding involving millions of people in a simultaneous global mind link. The purpose: to reverse the polarity of the negative force field in the race of mind, achieve a critical mass of spiritual consciousness, and usher in a new era of Peace on Earth. It was called World Healing Day, the World Instant of Cooperation, World Peace Day– a moment of Oneness to dissolve the sense of separation and return human kind to Godkind. Whatever the term or label, it was the New Beginning in restoring this world to sanity.  The majority of individuals and organizations participating were operating under the umbrella of the Planetary Commission, a worldwide non-denominational, non-political movement functioning as an extension of The Quartus Foundation. It was a grass roots cooperative effort to unite people in a common bond of love and bringing our planet back into balance.  The first formal announcement of the Commission was made on January 1, 1984, designating December 31, 1986 as World healing Day. Noon Greenwich time was selected as the time for the healing meditation as it would encompass all time zones during that 24-hour period. Word quickly spread, and when that moment in time arrived on December 31, 1986, the mind-link totaled more than 500-million people representing all religious faiths on seven continents, in more than seventy countries, and in every state in the U.S. Over 500 spiritual and peace-related organizations around the world participated. We saw the results in the years that followed. In a report from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, Walter Stuetzle, the Institute’s director and a former West German Undersecretary of Defense, said that there was “remarkable progress toward a potentially more peaceful world… There was a clean break in the pattern of a constant increase in the number of major conflicts with which the world had grown accustomed.” Now the Commission is expanding and gathering strength each year as greater awareness of the Event spreads around the world.

Welcome to U.C.M.

Welcome to U.C.M. (Universal Church of the Master), founded in 1908.

UCM was founded as a church in which members are encouraged to develop and exercise their spiritual powers. We discourage adherence to rigid dogmas and tenets, believing that each person must find and travel his/her own path in the Light, and that no single set of fixed rules is applicable to everyone in their spiritual quest.

From its earliest years, UCM has emphasized spiritual healing, prophecy and demonstrations of the continuity of life beyond the transition commonly called “death”. As we move closer to world unity and a new age of Universal Brotherhood and Sisterhood, UCM is now placing greater attention upon training and developing the spiritual powers of its ministers to bring us into this new Golden Age.

Many of UCM’s ordained ministers sponsor classes for women and men to become Ministerial Students. The students can elect to study for a Licentiate Minister’s Certificate, which requires a minimum of one year of study. The Licentiate shall be certified to administer and perform Divine healing, to give counsel, inspirational and spiritual messages and instruction, and to teach the gospel of Christ and Universal Truth.The students may also become Ordained Ministers. This entails a minimum of two years of study. At completion, the student is entitled to perform all the duties of a licentiate minister, plus marriage ceremonies, christenings, baptism, funeral and memorial services.

UCM also has an accredited Remote Degree program offering Associate, Bachelor, Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Theology. We have a religious exemption with the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education; our school code is 7472210, and we are accredited by the Accrediting Commission International Incorporated.

Prayer Requests

We are happy to take all your prayer requests.  Each prayer will be put in our sacred clay prayer bowl as well as read here by our members who include them in their prayer work.

Our sacred clay prayer bowl was donated to UCM several years ago by Reverend’s Tom and Mary Garry. It was created by the skilled potter, Tom Krempa of Snohomish, WA., who had offered to create a vessel to serve as a depository for prayer requests and healing intentions.

Spirit was invited, through prayer and meditation, to join in creating the prayer bowl. The names of God, the angelic kingdom, saints, prophets, and avatars, including all other beings of enlightenment, named or unnamed, were written on the thinnest paper, torn in separate pieces, and fired with the clay into the pot.

We believe repeated use of sacred spaces and sacred intentions have frequently shown wonderful results. Spirit told us, ‘Intentions placed in the bowl will receive prayerful attention, from the faithful on both sides of the veil, as long as the need exists.’

To have your prayer request entered in the Prayer Bowl, enter your prayer request in the comment form below.  These comments will be retrieved by ministers at U.C.M. and placed in the prayer bowl each week.
