AFFIRMATION

I am ministering to those around me in all that I do.

Here are some words from one of the world’s greatest minister – Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see

the whole staircase.”

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is,

‘What are you doing for others?'”

“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies,

but the silence of our friends.”

“Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek,

but a means by which we arrive at that goal.”

“The time is always right to do what is right.”

A Rabbi, a Protestant Minister, a Catholic Priest and a Baptist preacher were discussing religion.
The Rabbi said: “Let’s be honest with each other. We all have our vices. For instance, I’m not supposed to eat ham or pork – but I love them!”
The Protestant Minister said, “Well, I do have one vice – I like to drink. In fact, I get drunk from time to time.”
The Catholic Priest said, “I’ll be honest. I like girls. I like to get kissed at least once a week.”
They looked at the Baptist Preacher. “Haven’t you got any vices?” they asked.
“Well, only one,” he said. “I like to gossip!”
