Sacred Times May 2012

May 11, 2012

Editor: Reverend Felecia Mulvany, D.D.

Presidents Message

 Reverend Sandy Clark

As the song goes, “April showers bring May flowers,” so goes the patio outside my office. We had heavy rain at the end of April and now the patio is blooming brightly outside my window, it is such a delight to see all the “life” and beautiful colors.

We are on the fourth Dove nest this year, fourth nest what a wonder. One pair of Doves produced two baby doves, then another couple arrived and they had two doves, then the first couple came back and had two more, and those babies had not been out of the nest for a day, when the second couple moved right back in and started nesting again. From the way she is sitting on the nest the past couple of days, I believe the eggs have hatched, assuming there are two eggs, a couple of heads should be popping up over the edge of the nest pretty soon.

The squirrels are still around. I think we have a couple more than we had before, they still dash along the fence and dig in the pots to bury whatever. On several occasions I have seen a very fat cat strolling around like he owns the patio, and for the past week about six finches have been coming around. I do not think they have a nest on the patio, but one could be nearby. In fact as I write this two are hopping about along the fence and in the fountain taking a bath!

I invite all of you to bask in the energy of spring which envelopes our patio garden and envision yourself sitting on one of the benches being overlooked by our angels and fairies. Yes it is magical.

Speaking of angels and fairies, our human ones have been busily organizing our UCM Annual Meeting coming up on May 19th at the Campbell Community Center. Light Workers: Heed the Call

Reverend Kala Ambrose

We’ve now reached the Second Quarter of 2012, having just celebrated Spring Equinox in March and Easter in April. This marks the time of New Beginnings. The Mercury and Mars Retrogrades are over and we are experiencing a “rebirth” as we usher in the Age of Aquarius.

With this renewed energy, hope will arise in a burst of light and the possibilities of what we can create are limitless. With this potential, we must understand the importance of this time along with the realization of who we are.  In brief…

We are the souls who have chosen to reincarnate at this time and we have come back here to be an instrumental force in the upcoming evolution.

In order to accomplish these mighty goals, it’s time to put forth all of the training that you’ve received and been preparing for over lifetimes. This means…

You are a Light Worker. This means it requires Work to bring in the Light.

In order to assist with the shift in Energy and Consciousness, there are three things we must do:

1. Face the Dark

This includes the darkness inside each of us. We are beings of duality and it is important to come to terms with this duality and understand that we have the free will choice to make each thought, action and deed as positive and light bearing as possible in every moment. There are times we will stumble and fall. What matters is that we recognize that we will make mistakes. When we make mistakes, we will not let them define us, rather we will get back up and do our best to move forward and become stronger and better from what we have learned.

2. Face Our Fears

We choose to live in love with faith that each experience makes us stronger or we choose to live in fear, hiding from new experiences. The only constant in life is change. To be a light worker we cannot shirk back from new experiences regardless of how difficult they feel at times. It is our duty to move forward spreading love, joy and hope in each undertaking. By living in the light, we help ourselves and others around the world.

3. Call Forth the Light

You have been given Two Sacred Gifts at this time, which are tools to use in this mission:

– Tradition:
You have received Past Life Training as Wisdom Keepers, Shamans and Priestesses that you can call forth into being. This is not your first lifetime here doing the work. As I am seeing in the auric bodies, we are evolving and becoming crystalline bodies of energy. Our auric fields are expanding which will allow us to interface on a greater level with the spiritual planes. With this ability, it becomes easier to access our higher self and recall the knowledge of previous lifetimesIn this lifetime, we are integrating all of our previous lifetimes and merging them into one, becoming a whole being on the mind, body and spirit level.

– Good Luck and White Light Energy is returning.
Maximize this energy and use it now to your best and highest potential. With the retrogrades lifting, we are now entering one of the strongest energetic times seen thus far in this century. The time period between June 2012 and December 2012 is incredibly powerful and used wisely this energy can be tapped into creating magnificent works. Don’t waste a minute of this time to co-create whatever you wish to achieve in this lifetime. What you create during this period will have long lasting effects for years to come.

June 2012 will soon be here, take the next two months to plan and prepare for the work that you wish to do as a lightworker and on a personal level to call into being in mid June.  I’ll be writing more on my blog soon about MidSummer and what you can do to prepare and usher in this tremendous powerful light energy. For more information regarding how your auric bodies are evolving, check out my book, The Awakened Aura: Experiencing the Evolution of Your Energy Body.

In love and light,

Naoto Matsumura and his Animals in Japan

Taken from an essay by Anne Thomas

Submitted by Reverend Jacquelyn Sendak-Zavaleta

Naoto Matsumura is a well-known name among animal advocates worldwide. He is the brave soul who defied Japanese government orders to leave his hometown, Tomioka, after the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant explosion. He stayed on and now cares for the animals left behind.

After the nuclear problem started, Matsumura San and his father, who was living with him, went to relatives to ask if they could move in with them. Those people had small children and were afraid of the effects of radiation, so refused. From there they tried to find shelter in evacuation centers, but by that time those places were all full. So Matsumura San and his father returned home. However, a month later his three brothers came and persuaded the father to leave. But Matsumura San stayed on. At first it was because of the house and having a place to stay. Plus he had promised his neighbors he would feed their animals until they came back. But one day he realized he wanted to live his life with a deeply meaningful purpose. That was when he decided his life’s mission was not only to care for, but also to defend the animals left in Tomioka Town. And a very strong mission and conviction it has indeed become.

Matsumura San said the government’s plan was to kill all the animals in the restricted zone. In fact, one time police arrived with government officials and held him back as they slaughtered the milk cows. He boldly told them, “Why are you protecting these crooks? You should be protecting the innocent people and animals whose lives they have destroyed. You have your values backwards. Wake up!”

Whenever he talks to government or TEPCO officials his main pitch is, “Why should you kill these animals? They are living things just like you and me. They have just as much right to live as you or I do. I will not let you come near them. I will protect their rights with all my power!”

At first, he said, Tomioka’s town government supported him, but because of the federal government’s pressure, they have stopped. But that only makes him more determined. “I’m a modern-day Samurai. I will not give up this fight. Even if I go to prison, I will not stop. And you know, if I am incarcerated, maybe more people here will know about me and then this impasse will break and something positive will emerge.”

When people left Tomioka, they asked Matsumura San to look after their animals. At first the cats and dogs were afraid or defensive toward him, but with time they came looking for him whining for food. At one point he was caring for 60 dogs. And it took six or seven hours a day to feed all the animals scattered over the town and surrounding areas.

He let the cows loose from the barns in order for them to graze. Now many of them are plump and healthy, but are becoming wild. He is concerned about that and would like to build a large corral where they can be contained, but also get enough to eat.

When asked what kept him motivated. He gave a wry smile and said, “My anger. My frustration. TEPCO’s and the government’s behavior infuriate me to this day. But also love. I really love the animals. I often feel lonely, but when I see their faces, my heart overflows with love. Then I am not lonely anymore. And when I see their babies, so cute, so adorable, I feel great hope. I know that no matter what stupid things people do, life will go on.”

Nanci Caron, started a fundraiser to support Matsumura San and his cause. Matsumura San thanked Nanci for her kindness, as she thanked Matsumura San for his great work, and Mayumi and Anne for being bridges to make all this happen. “How can we help you further,” Nanci asked.

“Please tell the international community I need their support. I need funds. All I have comes from donations. A little bit from everyone can bring big results. “Please let the international community know about my work. The more people know about this, the more the Japanese government and TEPCO will have to pay attention and actually do something about this terrible tragedy. Not by killing the animals, but by cleaning up the radiation. We have to get started. There is no time to lose.”

About UCM

UCM was founded as a church in which members are encouraged to develop and exercise their spiritual powers. We discourage adherence to rigid dogmas and tenets, believing that each person must find and travel his/her own path in the Light, and that no single set of fixed rules is applicable to everyone in their spiritual quest.

From its earliest years, UCM has emphasized spiritual healing, prophecy and demonstrations of the continuity of life beyond the transition commonly called “death”. As we move closer to world unity and a new age of Universal Brotherhood and Sisterhood, UCM is now placing greater attention upon training and developing the spiritual powers of its ministers to bring us into this new “Golden Age”.
