Affirmation

I am gloriously awakening to God!

GOD LOVES DRUNK PEOPLE TOO

A man and his wife were awakened at 3:00 a.m. by a loud pounding on the door.

The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push.
          “Not a chance,” says the husband, “it is 3:00 in the morning!”
          He slams the door and returns to bed.
          “Who was that?” asked his wife.
          “Just some drunk guy asking for a push,” he answers.
          “Did you help him?” she asks.
          “No, I did not, it is 3:00 in the morning and it is pouring rain out there!”
          “Well, you have a short memory,” says his wife. “Can’t you remember about three months ago when we broke down, and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!  God loves drunk people too.”

          The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pounding rain.

          He calls out into the dark, “Hello, are you still there?”
          “Yes,” comes back the answer.
          “Do you still need a push?” calls out the husband.
          “Yes, please!” comes the reply from the dark.
          “Where are you?” asks the husband.

“Over here on the swing set,” replied the drunk.

Musings on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

One of the ironies of the tragic Gulf of Mexico oil spill is that British Petroleum renamed itself in 2001, using the tag line …….you can’t write this stuff….. Beyond Petroleum!

The irony is that the effect of this oil spill will be a globe cry for alternative Energy products that are……beyond petroleum!

In the article below from the BP website, you can see that the date the name change was approved was April 19^th 2001.  The same date eight years later all the little SNAFU’s started coalescing into the perfect storm for the oil spill disaster on April 20^th.

BP announced today that following an overwhelming vote of approval at its Annual General Meeting (AGM), the name of the parent company has been changed to BP p.l.c. with effect from today, Tuesday, 1 May 2001.

The resolution at the AGM on Thursday, 19 April was carried with a 98.25% vote in favour of the name change (12,145,436,700 votes cast for the resolution).

The parent company was previously called BP Amoco p.l.c. – the name given on 31 December 1998, the date of the merger between BP and Amoco.

Trading in the company’s shares will continue as normal. The Reuters Instrument Code (RIC) on the London Stock Exchange remains BP.L. Other Stock Exchanges trading BP shares are in Germany, France, Switzerland and Japan.

The ticker symbol on the New York Stock Exchange remains BP and the company’s ADS shares will continue to be listed and traded on the Pacific, Chicago and Toronto Stock Exchanges as well as New York.

April 19th and 20^th are interesting dates.  Here are a couple of events for each day:

April 19^th 1995, we had the bombing of the IRS building in Oklahoma by Timothy McVeigh. 

April 19^th 2005, Cardinal Ratzinger is elected to become Pope Benedict the 16^th.

 April 20^th 1889, was Adolf Hilters B-day.

April 19^th 1997, the massacre at Columbine High School in Colorado happened.

The 19^th, 20^th and 21^st of April are also the dates every year when Aries goes into Taurus. Springtime Fire into Springtime Earth brings volatile times. Times that always brings change; kind of like rutting Elk. 

Also note in that article above how once again you see corporations using the dates of the ancient high holy days to their advantage.  May 1, is Beltane. It is when the people celebrate the spring crossquarter.  By the way, the Swastika was an ancient power symbol showing the Energy path from the crossquarters to the Solstice points; creating the Wheel of Life.  Big Juju in High Magick.

When will the spill be capped?  I think it will be when Saturn goes into Libra on July 23^rd.  Saturn restricts, adds boundaries, and suppresses things.  When it is in Virgo, a mutable sign, it is swishy washy.  When it goes into the Cardinal, action sign of Libra, things will get done.

The big aspect this month is:

Gee, I can only pick one?  Drat! Here are the top two:

1.     This month, five days after the Summer Solstice we have a Lunar Eclipse at 4 degrees of Capricorn, conjoining Pluto at 4 degrees of Capricorn.

2.     Jupiter goes into 00 degrees of Aries on June 5^th at 11:29pm.  It conjoins Uranus, which is also at 00 degrees of Aries. ( you are feeling this energy now…….kinda like Mercury retrograde never ended.

On the first point, I will share with you what I wrote last month. It is part of a correspondence I sent to one of the Chiefs of a First Nation People.

It has to do with the 400,000 priests converging on Rome on the 19^th of June and the need to energetically reroute usurped energy to Mother Earth for the healing of us all. ….trees, fish, air, water, animals…..us all.

In western High Magick, the veil is thinnest between the worlds, the day before, the day of, and the day after the Solstice, Equinox, Crossquaters, the Full and New Moon.

When you have so many celibate males praying over a strong Energetic grid point, during a partial Lunar eclipse that occurs so close to the Summer solstice, things will shift. 

A competent High Priest/ess , Pope,  Shaman, etcetera, can take the Prayer Energy of the  praying people and direct it for good or evil.

Here is how the Western High Magick manifestation will work this June.

On the 20th, the intention is prayed on.

On the Solstice, the 21st, the ritual is performed.

On the 22nd, the intention is visualized manifested.

The Full Moon of June 26th is a major power point.  The Moon will conjoin the lord of the Roman underworld, Pluto.  At 04 degrees and 06 minutes of Capricorn over the Vatican at 1:30pm CEDT.  The Sun will be opposite at 04 degrees of Cancer, 06 minutes.  It is a partial eclipse.  The link below shows the path of the eclipse.

The Vatican is not in the eclipse path, but we in the USA are, especially the western states. 

I live in San Mateo, CA; I will see the Moon set eclipsed.

The Moon and Pluto conjoining brings in the Dark Mother Energy, the Cave Mother Energy, and the Goddess of the Underworld. In Capricorn, it is about business and the Earth herself.

There is an Astrology book on the Sabian Symbols by Dane Rudhyar, it is called, An Astrological Mandala: The cycle of transformations and its 360 symbolic phases; each degree of the circle is given a definition.

When using these symbols if the degree is o4 Capricorn 06, the degree one reads is 05 Capricorn.

For the 05 Capricorn it reads as follows:

Phase: 275 (Capricorn 05) 

Indians on the warpath.  While some men row a well filled canoe, others in it perform a war dance.

Keynote:

The mobilization of physical and emotional energies in a Spirit of conquest.

On the Full Moon of May 27, the planet Uranus goes into Aries….it does retrograde back into Pisces for a bit but it does start another leg of the Cardinal Grand Cross which will be in action until 2015.

When Saturn goes into Libra on July 23, the conservatives will rise.  The last two times Saturn was in Libra was the 1950’s with the McCarthy era and the 1980’s with Regan.

Their Energy will rise in dominance if we do not energetically transmute their power.

So please be aware that all the brotherhoods and secret societies will be using this upcoming Summer Solstice to manifest their will.

The conclusion of this letter was that we all must gather in prayer, praying for a sustainable, respectful, life style that honors all beings on this planet.

Doing the prayer work during the three days of the Solstice magnifies the outcome. 

The path we are walking as a species is of change, and we must work together or the Dark Mother will rise up and swallow us. The planet will be fine; she will roll our cities into her molten heart and push out new mountains.

It is up to us if we want to stay around awhile. The call to action is now.  If you want your grandchildren to have fresh water and non toxic food, take action now!  It starts with you!

New break throughs in electronics, radical changes in the Law, online universities go wild, sudden mystical experiences increase worldwide, new communication techniques, energy healing goes to the next level, electro-magnetic weapons are issued, new enlightenment for the world, people become more tribal, jittery physical energy and sudden headaches (exercise is a must), radical American militants take to the streets; both left and right wing….more right wing though, “What do you mean I can’t wear my unload Glock into Starbucks!!”, new medical institutions, new neurosurgery techniques……..  The paten office will be inundated. …………

Protests galore, anarchy, new visions of the Christ Energy, a third political party starts in the USA via the web.  Just to name a few things! Whew!

The era of religion (Pisces) is ending and the age of Spirituality/agnosticism (Aquarius) is rising.

RETREAT:  My next Women’s retreat will be the weekend of July 30-Aug 1 in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Many people are willing to plant the seeds of truth, change, wisdom and honesty in their spiritual gardens, but how many of us are willing to get rid of our troubles so that our spiritual gardens can flourish?

Here you can learn some tips and tricks to deal with all the different varieties of ‘spiritual crab grass’ to allow your garden to flourish.
Patience
This will be your most important step. By planting the seed of patience in your life, you will be allowed numerous opportunities to flourish and grow into the you that you are meant to be.

When you first begin planting your seeds of patience, be sure to dig deep and understand that in order to gain patience, you must be willing to slow down and let yourself breathe within your own life.

The hardest part about learning patience is the time it takes to develop.
If you can master patience, you can then move on to tolerance.

Tolerance

Learning to be tolerant of others can be your greatest friend. Tolerance is built on learning to respect the beliefs, lifestyles and personal space of ourselves and others. These things may be things that we would ordinarily not agree with, however if we want to choke out our ‘spiritual crab grass’, it is essential to follow the right steps and use the right weed killer.

Appreciation

Out of planting the seeds of tolerance, come the vines of appreciation. The vines of appreciation weave their way into everything we do. We are all taught from a very young age to appreciate the good things in life. Well, what about the bad? Should we ignore it because it is bad? No. Bad things can teach us also and you know what? That is something definitely worth appreciating.

As our garden grows and we remove the weeds of anger, dishonesty, hatred, jealousy, envy and bitterness, we now have patience, tolerance and appreciation, to show for it. With that, we can now make time to plant the seeds of respect.

Respect

Respect is a wonderful thing. Showing respect is even better! How many of us are taught from a young age to respect our elders? I was definitely taught that. But what does respect mean? According to dictionary.com, respect is ‘to hold in esteem or honor’. Can you imagine if the lesson our parents taught us was to not only respect our elders, but ourselves also?

Our roots grow out of patience, tolerance buds the stalk and vine, appreciation allows us to admire progress, respect is what we give ourselves when we make good choices (like planting a spiritual garden to nurture ourselves) and respect blossoms into the flower of love. You know what, everyone loves flowers.

Tips & Warnings

• Decide how big you want your spiritual garden to be. This will allow you to set boundaries within your life.
• What type of flowers do you want your spiritual garden to have? Remember, in spiritual gardens, flowers are opportunities waiting to be plucked!
• Space your seeds equally apart. This will let you make sure to not overwhelm yourself with trying to do too much too soon.
• Water your garden daily. Pour kindness and love into yourself. You are the best investment you can ever make!
• Admire your own beauty. We often don’t give ourselves credit for the things we do. We are always willing to credit others before ourselves. Why? If you will go through the work of planting the garden, admire the hard work you have put into it.

While I sat in the reception area of my doctor’s office, a woman rolled an elderly man in a wheelchair into the room.  As she went to the receptionist’s desk, the man sat there, alone and silent. Just as I was thinking I should make small talk with him, a little boy slipped off his mother’s lap and walked over to the wheelchair. Placing his hand on the man’s, he said, ‘I know how you feel. My mom makes me ride in the stroller too.’

Out bicycling one day with my eight-year-old granddaughter, Carolyn, I got a little wistful. In ten years,’ I said, ‘you’ll want to be with your friends and you won’t go walking, biking, and swimming with me like you do now. Carolyn shrugged. ‘In ten years you’ll be too old to do all those things anyway.’

Working as a pediatric nurse, I had the difficult assignment of giving immunization shots to children. One day, I entered the examining room to give four-year-old Lizzie her needle. ‘No, no, no!’ she screamed. ‘Lizzie,’ scolded her mother, ‘that’s not polite behavior. With that, the girl yelled even louder, ‘No, thank you! No, thank you!

HOW TO MAKE AND USE PENDULUMS AND DIVINING RODS

This is an intimate retreat for 13 women only!

This retreat is a time for women to connect with the Divine Feminine.

It is a time for women to explore their personal power and spirit.

As well as creating Sacred Ceremony invoking the Great Goddess, we will learn how to make and use Pendulums and Divining/Dowsing Rods.

I will teach you the basics of how to use these ancient tools.  With these tools you can determine health; both physical and spiritual, and you can learn to find lost items, the right place to live, water, buried artifacts, the Earths Energy grid., and so much more!

The retreat is located at Salamander Camp which is less than 10 minutes outside of Los Gatos in the Santa Cruz Mountains; but you would never know you were near a city.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in arts and crafts, meditation, movement and dance, hiking, chanting, drumming, rattling, Sisterhood, self-care, Magick and quiet time.  .

Salamander Camp has three huge yurts; one is the kitchen, one for ceremonial work and one for sleeping (beds and futons). 

It has showers, complete kitchen, wood burning stoves for heat, composting toilets, electricity, hot tub, labyrinth, fairy grotto, hiking trails, and two old growth Redwoods.

This retreat is a retreat.  You will have lots of time to yourself: to walk in the forest, sit by the stream and mediate, read, journal, sunbathe, swim or whatever your heart desires.

Picture yourself at night, floating in a redwood hot tub, gazing at thousands of stars as you smell the smell of the forest!  The only sound is the union of your breath and the breeze.  Ah!  I am there already!

The price includes all your meals and lodging.  The meals are delicious and organic. Please tell me if you have any dietary restrictions so we can make you your own delicious food.
