I wanted to share with you an experience I had driving home Monday evening. As I left the office it started to rain but the sun was still shining so the raindrops looked like silver and crystal drops and appeared quite magical to me.  I had the radio on and heard that the direction I was headed was experiencing quite heavy rain and even hail.  I am still experiencing sun, but as I looked ahead I saw a very big, dark cloud.  By now I am on the freeway and just as I went around a curve in the road I saw the biggest, brightest rainbow I have ever seen.  I even gasped as I saw it.  The rays were wide and bright primary colors, and instead of moving away from me, as rainbows seem to do, it got closer.  At one point the leaves on the trees along the side of the road became the colors of the rays that were being touched by the rainbow.  I admit to having a hard time driving I was so fascinated by the rainbow.  It was so big and close to me, I could almost touch it, and admit to looking to see if I could see a pot of gold under it!  At the point it appeared I would be driving under the rainbow, I needed to concentrate on my driving, and the rainbow disappeared only to appear once more in the distance as I was almost home.  I have not felt the same since.  May the magic of the rainbow touch each of you as it did me.

Five Things You Can Do To Shift Negative Energy

5  Techniques you can do, RIGHT NOW, to shift negative energy.

Everyone needs a “safe place.” And, to keep your place safe one must practice good energy hygiene. Be attentive to negative energies and vibrations and diligent about removing them from your environment; home, workspace, play area, and aura. Here are 5 things you can do, right now, to shift any negative energy from your space.

1. Surround yourself with things that are alive. Get a green plant with big leaves. “Plants are efficient filters, not only will they take out some of the nasty stuff that’s in your space (remember, the EPA estimates that indoor air quality is often up to 10 times worse than what’s outside), but they also offer some protection against electromagnetic radiation. 2. Music, play music that inspires you, music that makes you want to hum and move. Want an instant vibration perk? Start singing out loud. Singing and dancing are excellent ways to raise the vibration inside, outside and all around you. Just thinking of a favorite song can spark you up.

3. Eat real food. “If it comes to you through your car window it isn’t really food.” I’ve tried for years to ignore this one, but it is really true,processed foods create heavy energy inside your body, which influences your energy field. Real foods are higher in energy because they have a vibration while processed foods are dead and do not.

4. Laugh! Laughter is healing for your entire body. When you laugh you release lots of feel good hormones and it exercises your internal organs. Fake a good laugh for 20 minutes (you can work up to this), just laugh and laugh. At first it might seem silly but your body will catch on, you might feel so foolish that it will really give you a good laugh. You could also watch funny movies or listen to comedians.

However it happens, laughter will raise your vibrations.

5. Do something that you have not done before. Go somewhere you have never been. Break up your normal routine. This change of pattern will force you into a new environment with new energy.

These 5 tips are all tremendously valuable and they all work! Don’t stay upset and angry, if you sit in anger you are psychically attacking yourself. Stop it.

With Mars going direct President Obama will get his groove back.  In traditional astrology when Mars is retrograde, the king looses power.  For Obama it was a double whammy since Leo is his Sun sign.

So since December 21^st 2009, (winter Solstice) the Pres has not been able to do much.  The conservatives have had the upper hand. Now we can expect him to start playing hardball with his own people and the others across the isle.

He should really hammer things out from April 08 to July 21 2010.  This is when Saturn retrogrades back into Virgo.  When Saturn goes back into Libra then the conservatives will go for the jugular.  When Saturn was in Libra in 1950, the witch-hunt of McCarthyism was increasing in power.  Expect something similar again to occur.

Even though Iran and Iraqi started off the 1980 Saturn (restrictive) in Libra (relationships) cycle as enemies they will have to join to survive if they wish to maintain their way of life.  It is kind of like a Saturn return for their discord.  This year will determine what the next cycle will be based on.

For our readers, please remember that July 21, 2010 will be the beginning of a new 30-year Libra (relationship) cycle for you.  Start it well.  A little ritual on Saturday (Saturn’s day) will help.  The date is July 24^th, one day prior to the full moon.  The Energy is still be rising.  Set your intention and expectations of what you want.  Keep in mind that the universe loves you and if you think you are not worthy, the universe will help you manifest that.

NOTE:

Two months ago I talked about major Earthquakes off the west coast of the America’s. In San Francisco on January 7^th we had a 4.1 quake.  Off the coast in Eureka on January 10^th, there was a 6.5 that caused property damage; followed by a 5.9 on February 4^th.  There were several 4.0 and above in South America. 

Now Chile has had an 8.8 quake, the 5^th largest ever recorded.

As long as the Cardinal Grand cross is in play, (most of this year), the Earth will be reminding us of our place in her scheme of life.

Like the comedian George Carlin said, “Save the World?  Who do we think we are?  When the Earth is done with us, she will shake us off like a bad case of fleas.”

If I had more time I would be able to do the research necessary to do pinpoint predications…sigh!  Oh to win the lotto!

The Solomon Islands will be another likely place for a big shaker.  If the west coast of North America doesn’t have a 7 or above earthquake this year I will be amazed.  More than likely it will occur in Northern California by Shasta, up to Vancouver BC.

Opportunity for Free Hospice Training and Degree Thesis Topic

Dear UCM members,

I recently met with Renee Berry the Volunteer Services Manager at VITAS Innovative Hospice Care to discuss what UCM and VITAS can offer each other. I am excited about VITAS free training and volunteer programs. 

The training at VITAS is free and they match you up with a volunteer opportunity that best fits your abilities. For those who do work directly with patients they ask that you be open to and respectful of all religious beliefs.  One of the many ways to volunteer is Project StoryKeeper, where you capture the stories of elders near the end of life. Use your artistic skills to develop a scrapbook or “digital biography” with music, photos, captions, etc., a gift for their loved ones to keep. 

If you are looking for a topic for your degree program thesis or a ministerial project you may want to consider VITAS Innovative Hospice Care. The UCM Accreditation Committee has approved VITAS for thesis and practicum hours.  VITAS is located in Newark California and services the South Bay Area. If you are interested in this program but do not live in this area, please look for a hospice organization near you.

I am the Light of the World

The desire of our heart is to know God. To do so we must be open to change. As we experience that the Mother/Father God is our Light! We realize as this LIGHT comes into expression, that it all starts in us. You don’t need to look outside to find it for it is within you first because you are a part of God!

When you walk into a dark room you don’t start fighting the darkness so light can come. You turn on the light. The light of the world does not argue with darkness, fight, or even try in any way to remove the darkness. It cannot be extinguished by any darkness. IT IS THE LIGHT! In the presence of light there is no darkness for light does not have to contend with darkness. Darkness can only exist in the absence of light. Light is a symbol of spiritual presence and power. And each one of us can turn that light brighter and higher through our words, our thoughts and our deeds.

Education has brought us into a realm of more light.  Before 1624 only 10% of the population could read.  With the invention of the printing press it opened a new world to many.  Back then, the mentality was keep the masses in the dark and they won’t cause trouble. When the only education, spiritual instruction and teachings were done by the Rabbis and Priests, people were unable to find their own truth.

Today, however, you can read everything! You can read the Upanishads, the basis of Hindu philosophy and thought or the theology of Bhagavad-Gita Gita, or read the Buddhist sutras regarding moral philosophies and now women can read the Torah and learn about their own Jewish background.  Jewish, Messianic, and Hebrew religious tradition ascribes authorship of the Torah to Moses through a process of divine inspiration.  The Bible as used by Christians adopted the Jewish Torah calling it the “Old Testament” which joined with the letters of The Apostles into the New Testament.  The two together are referred to as “The Bible” by Christians. In the Islamic faith, Muslims believe the Qur’an to be the book of divine guidance and direction for mankind, and consider the original Arabic text to be the final revelation of God as given to Muhammad by the Angel Gabriel.

Education, the ability to read and a willingness to seek the truth in earlier writings has opened up all of the paths to the universality of Spirit and the knowledge that we are truly One with God.

When you are awakened to Spirit and the light comes on in your consciousness, the picture changes. As when we awaken and our dreams were just that – shadow pictures, not reality. We realize we needed the light of day to show us the truth.

It’s amazing how religion can paint this picture of the giant devil running around destroying what God said WAS GOOD; a man-made doctrine keeping us locked into darkness.

We are in Spirit and need not listen to words that make us separate from the Light. When light comes, there is peace because there is nothing else. Light does not challenge or compete with darkness for in the presence of Light there is NO darkness.

Awake and shake off the dust of 6,000 years of thinking that we are separate and living in the dark. I am the Light, We are the Light, You are the Light of God. And as the flame of a candle can be shared without losing its glow – so can you share The Light within You with everyone you meet.

Matthew 5:14 KJV:  “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your God in heaven.”

Yoga Returns to CCL!

April 5^th Monday – 7:00 to 8:30 – SPRING BACK INTO YOGA.

Gentle Yoga Class with Krishnapriya (Laura Marshall). A theme for each week’s class. Doing specific asanas (poses) that benefit a part of the back. The Magical Ones are reviewed in each session to round out the practice. Pranayama (Breathing) exercises-and Guided Meditation in every class. FIRST CLASS ALWAYS FREE – COME TRY IT AT NO COST http://yogadevi09@yahoo.com. For best practice: Light eating at least 2 hours before class, wear loose fitting clothes, bring your own mat/blanket or use one of ours.
